Initiated philanthropic effort for the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, an international medical assocation.
Set up the office and infrastructure, including a Raiser's Edge database, filing systems, policies, procedures, gift recognition policies, and donation standards.
Utilizing capital campaign techniques, raised $6.3 milliion in three years, exceeding a goal to raise $2 million in five years.
Devised strategies and obtained major gifts for the organization, including a $1.5 million gift. Other major gifts ranged from $25,000 to $400,000.
Managed and administered programs for the organization in educational programs, research grants, and a study to reduce human error in the cardiac operating room in 13 sites across the U.S.
Managed communication projects for the SCA Foundation. Wrote text, oversaw graphic designers, and managed print production. Developed and updated websites and other marketing collateral in regards for programs.
Produced direct mail campaigns for annual giving.
Developed and initiated cultivation and education events for the Foundation to engage current and prosective partners at the annual meetings each year.
